About this game

A high-school dropout with a gift for tinkering scrapes together the cash to rent warehouse space and open a one-man sexbot repair shop. Survival mode kicks in fast: clients are rare, parts are expensive and the warehouse doubles as a bedroom. The sandbox RPG loop covers technical work, customer relations and the slow build of a roster of restored bots with personalities of their own.

Developer Notes

SR24 is a variant of 'Defective Sexbot Chop Shop' (DSCS) by Radnor and uses the same game mechanics. Radnor designed DSCS to allow players to write mods adding content to the game. SR24 supports MOST mods created for DSCS. After installing the game, more information can be found in a folder named 'game\information'. Information about creating and using mods can be found on the DSCS page here on F95Zone.

For those of you who played DSCS I'm sure you know who 'Mr_Shaky' is. He gave me permission to reference his 'Mods' post in the 'Extras' section on the DSCS game page. This is the definitive source of information on mods for DSCS and SR24. If you use the link please keep in mind that his excellent work was done for DSCS not for SR24. Most (NOT all) mods for DSCS will work on SR24 however Mr_Shaky has no way to know which mods work on SR24 and which ones don't work on SR24. Do NOT blame him if you have trouble using mods with SR24, instead come here and I'll do my best to help you.

NEW - A small quest named 'Bot Lore Conversation' happens early in the game to provide background information. In saved games it will appear as a flashback scene. NEW - There are 2 new BBS requests to buy bots from you. They are from poor customers who can only afford 'D' rated bots. IMPROVEMENT - When buying and selling bot parts you can now transfer 1, 2, 5, or 10 parts at a time instead of only 1 at a time. There are also a few bug and typo fixes. Please see the change log in 'Game Information' for details.

SR24 0.15.1 is compatible with saves from all previous versions except 0.0.1. NEW - A new scene was added with the MC and the store owner (Ruthie). BUG FIX - A bug was discovered that caused notifications about defective bots to be bypassed. The notification system was improved to prevent this from happening. TYPOS - 2 typos pointed out by 'Freddy Fapsbear' on F95Zone are fixed.

SR 0.15.0 is compatible with saves from versions 0.0.2 through 0.14.2. It is NOT compatible with saves from version 0.0.1 NEW - There are new interactions with the MC's second love interest, the night school teacher. OTHER CHANGES: Please refer to the change log file which is installed with the game or use the 'Game Information' link in 'Extras'.

It is NOT compatible with saves from version 0.0.1. MINOR IMPROVEMENT - When you have damaged patrol bots being repaired there will be messages on screen in red informing you about them. These messages indicate how many bots are in capsules and/or storage and if there is a bot waiting for either a capsule or storage space to be available. BUG FIX - There was a bug within Bot Monitor that caused errors when moving bots from capsules to storage under certain circumstances. This no longer happens. BUG FIX - There was a bug that allowed you to sell the special bots in the Business Partners quest on BBS offers if they met the conditions of the offer. This is no longer allowed. BUG FIX - There were incorrect messages displayed during the Night School quest if your escort bot was destroyed and the bot had Combat skill ratings of 'B' or 'C'. These were corrected. BUG FIX - In version 0.12.5 I accidentally broke BBS offers within mods that request you to sell a bot for a fixed price. (None of the BBS offers requesting bots in the 'vanilla' game have a fixed price.) BBS offers in mods that request bots for a fixed price are working again. Thanks to 'subenji' on F95Zone for pointing out the problem and describing how to fix it.
